Last Saturday we had our second appointment and Elliott had the eye drop test. During the test I was sitting hoping for the best. Mainly hoping that whatever the results they would be mild or at the most what they found at the previous test. The results were long sighted +3.75.
I watched Elliott struggle to read the letters and feeling uncomfortable. He almost looked like he wanted to pass the test. As if it was one. The results are worse and came back at +7.
+7
It seems so much!
We are being referred to the hospital as a matter of emergency to have a second opinion. With a more advanced and accurate equipment we should hopefully confirm the exact results.
In the meantime he has been prescribed glasses. So now it is the waiting game, waiting for the glasses and waiting for the appointment…

Oh Peggy I am sorry. I hope that the appointment for the hospital comes fast (they usually do). I am sure he will find glasses make a big difference and you will have a happy boy

RoRo has glasses and goes to the hospital for her eye appointments. She’s fine and remembers her glasses herself most of the time. I’m sure Thu will help Elliot.
